What the role is:You will be part of the Development Management team supporting the development of gardens, parks and infrastructural projects in the National Parks and Gardens Cluster.What you will be working on:You will support the Development team in contract and cost management functions, including pre and post-contract administration/management of development projects. You will be involved in the preparation of tender documents, conduct tender evaluation, assess progress payments, variation requests and claims related to the project to ensure compliance with appropriate tendering and procurement procedures. In this role, you will also explore and implement innovative solutions and best practices for procurement and contract management strategies for development projects.What we are looking for:
  • Areas of study in Building/Quantity Surveying or related discipline
  • At least 5 years of relevant working experience in Quantity Surveying, Procurement or Contract Management
  • Familiar with Government Procurement requirements and PSSCOC is preferred.
  • Self-motivated team player, responsible and resourceful with good analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Good organisational, interpersonal and communication skills
  • Adaptable and able to manage multiple projects effectively in a fast-paced environment
