Job DescriptionThe successful candidate will have the following responsibilities:
  • Review tax compliance processes and propose improvement initiatives
  • Develop and propose solutions to improve tax efficiency and governance
  • Partner with the business across all functions of tax to understand and identify their processes and requirements in order to drive process improvements and efficiencies
  • Manage the process improvement projects and work with cross-functional teams in implementing tax processes and procedures to mitigate risks
The ideal candidate should have:
  • Possess a University degree and/or post-graduate qualification in Accounting, Finance, Business and Law with relevant working experience.
  • At least 3 to 4 years of relevant working experience in corporate tax and tax compliance.
  • GST ACAP experience will be an advantage
  • Experience in reviewing and implementing tax process improvements.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Visio or any process mapping applications
  • Have a progressive forward-thinking mindset, an analytical and innovative thinker who always looks for improvement opportunities.
  • Be strongly driven and committed to delivering cutting-edge solutions.
  • Strong documentation skills, meticulous with keen attention to detail.
