- Lead and manage all aspects of the end-to-end bid management process, including RFP/RFI analysis, bid strategy development, planning, prioritizing, solution development coordination, pricing structuring, coordinating bid activities and final proposal compilation.
- Assemble and lead a bid team with the necessary expertise to develop a winning proposal.
- Orchestrate cross-functional bid teams including solutions architects, product specialists, pricing analysts, and legal teams to develop comprehensive and competitive proposals
- Analyze customer requirements, competitive landscape, and market conditions to develop winning strategies and value propositions
- Establish and maintain bid timelines, ensuring all stakeholders meet critical deadlines and quality standards throughout the proposal process
- Develop and implement bid procedures and processes to ensure consistency and quality.
- Work closely with sales, product, and service teams to gather information and insights for the bid.
- Ensure that all bid documentation is accurate, complete, and submitted on time.
- Maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate the bid process.
- Monitor and report on bid progress, identifying and addressing any issues or risks.
- Drive the development of custom pricing models and commercial structures in collaboration with finance and solution teams
- Manage executive reviews and sign-off processes, incorporating feedback and ensuring alignment with corporate guidelines
- Maintain bid library and knowledge management system to improve efficiency and proposal quality
This role reports to Manager Sales Engineering.skills and experience required
- Strong people management and leadership skills.
- Experience in a similar role within a dynamic sales environment.
- At least 4+ years of experience in bid management, preferably in technology services or telecommunications industry
- Strong understanding of enterprise technology solutions, including networking, cloud services, and managed services
- Excellence in project management, with ability to coordinate multiple workstreams and stakeholders
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
- Strategic thinking and business acumen
