What the role is:The successful job applicant will play a crucial role in overseeing the existing IT systems used by staff and students and leading the digital transformation of the department's processes through IT solutions and automation. He/she will also be responsible for training and supporting department staff in adopting new digital tools and platforms, amongst other administrative duties.What you will be working on:There are 2 primary roles to be undertaken: (i) Management and enhancement of IT Systems and (ii) Digitalisation & Process Automation Management and enhancement of IT Systems· Oversee department's IT systems, ensuring smooth operation and usability for staff and students.· Track and manage system issues, working closely with vendors and internal stakeholders to implement fixes and enhancements.· Conduct user needs assessments to gather feedback and implement system improvements effectively by translating the requirements into user specifications.Digitalisation & Process Automation· Familiarity in implementing process improvement using LEAN and digitalisation enablement programmes involving Office 365, RPA, Low-code apps, Gen Al· Automate administrative workflows (e.g., form submissions, approval flows) using Power Automate, Power Apps and other AI-driven solutions.· Develop interactive dashboards using Power BI to support the analytical capabilities, track engagement and generate insights for decision-making.· Identify areas for process improvement and implement technology solutions to optimise efficiency.· Develop interactive e-learning materials to enrich student engagement, when required.What we are looking for:· Relevant academic qualifications with at least 5 years of relevant working experience in the development of web-based tools and a strong interest in User Experience / User Interface Design-Experience with Web Front-end Development· Able to work independently, with minimal supervision and as a team player.· Able to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment, detail-oriented with strong analytical skills and highly self-motivated.· Excellent administrative, event and time management skills and can engage various levels of stakeholders.· Proficient with RPA, Low-code apps, Gen Al, MS Office and Power Platforms such as Power Automate, Power BI, Power Apps, comfortable and confident to pick up the use of IT tools quickly.About Republic Polytechnic:The first educational institution in Singapore to leverage the Problem-based Learning approach for all its diploma programmes, Republic Polytechnic (RP) has seven schools offering courses in Applied Science, Engineering, Business, Hospitality, Infocomm, Sports and Health, and Technology for Arts, Media and Design.
