  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

What you will be working on:1. Ensure the maintenance of electrical equipment such as switch boards, motors, motor starters,, and instruments such as flowmeters, level meters, H2S meters, pressure meters, CO meters etc at pumping installations, odour control facilities (OCF) and bubbler level system are carried out in accordance with schedule and safely on-site. 2. Carry out technology sourcing and conduct trials of technologies or tools that can monitor health of electrical equipment. Evaluate the feasibility of the tools/technologies for long term use and the implementation schedules. 3. Review technical drawings, specifications and schematics of new electrical equipment, and oversee the testing and commissioning of these new electrical equipment/system. 4. Lead root cause analysis of electrical equipment & instruments breakdowns and propose solutions/areas for improvements. Review recommended repair works/solutions to ensure adherence to required quality standards. 5. Review maintenance plans, schedules, Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for inspection, testing and maintenance of electrical equipment. 6. Plan and manage the manpower resources and expenditures of term contracts used to maintenance of electrical equipment at pumping installations, odour control facilities (OCF) and bubbler level system. 7. Draft, call and evaluate tender proposals for term contracts that are used for maintenance of electrical equipment & instruments at pumping installations, odour control facilities (OCF) and bubbler level system. 8. Liaise with contractors on tasks, activities, and progress of deployment of response plans, maintenance, repairs, troubleshooting and rectification of defects to electrical equipment & instruments. 9. Ensure that all work activities such as maintenance and upgrading works at the sewerage installations are carried out safely, in accordance with safe work procedures, contract specifications and statutory requirements and with minimal impact/disruption to used water conveyance. 10. Review condition assessment and maintenance reports submitted by contractors to ensure works were carried out in order before recommending for acceptance.What we are looking for:
  • Degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering • Fit and able to work outdoors/carry out site work • Comfortable with working in used water environment • Able to respond to urgent situations outside normal working hours on short notice • Is self-driven, embraces learning and possess analytical mind, and positive, can-do attitude
