Job Description:As a strategic partner, the HRBP aligns people strategies and policies with THKMC's mission, vision, and objectives. Acting as a consultant to Service Chiefs and managers, the HRBP addresses HR-related issues while championing employees and driving change. The HRBP anticipates and communicates HR needs, forming partnerships and building relationships to deliver value-added services that reflect THKMC's people strategies.Main Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Establish trusted relationships with Service Chiefs and managers as a reliable HR advisor.
  • Collaborate with Business Units on manpower planning and recruitment strategies to fill vacancies effectively.
  • Address and resolve employee relations issues, conducting objective investigations when necessary.
  • Foster positive work relationships, boost morale, and enhance productivity and retention by working closely with management and employees.
  • Provide guidance and interpretation of HR policies.
  • Consult with Service Chiefs on optimizing manpower resources.
  • Improve internal HR processes, systems, and communications to enhance service and user experience.
  • Conduct exit interviews, analyze attrition reasons, and compile reports.
  • Lead and participate in HR projects and initiatives.
Qualifications:
  • Degree in Human Resource Management or related field.
  • Minimum 8 years in a HR Generalist role, with experience in a supervisory role.
  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook).
  • Experienced in project management and implementation.
  • Strong knowledge of the Employment Act and Labour Laws.
  • Proactive, able to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Skilled in building and maintaining effective interpersonal relationships at all levels.
  • Excellent analytical thinking and communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Capable of handling sensitive matters with tact, discretion, and confidentiality.
  • Strong prioritization, time management, and multi-tasking abilities.
  • Able to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and drive projects to completion.
  • Resourceful and enjoys challenges.

THKMC is the charitable arm of Thye Hua Kwan Moral Society, which lives by the mission To Serve Mankind to help anyone who needs help regardless of their race, religion, colour, language, creed and culture. THKMC today serves more than 70,000 beneficiaries through more than 70 programmes across five Services, which include Disability, Early Intervention for Children, Family, Seniors Community, and Therapy.
