Job Description:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Trade Support Executive to join our team. This role requires an individual with exceptional coordination and communication skills to manage procurement and post-order activities while ensuring all operational processes are executed efficiently and on time.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Tender Support: Track, follow up, and assist in managing tender submissions and related documentation.
  • Office Coordination: Collaborate with internal teams and departments to ensure smooth daily operations.
  • Purchase Order Management: Place purchase orders (POs), track progress, and ensure successful closure.
  • Financial Liaison: Coordinate with the finance team for Letters of Credit (LC) and other payment arrangements.
  • Supplier and Buyer Communication: Proactively follow up with buyers and suppliers for post-order updates and resolve issues promptly.
  • Logistics and Shipment Tracking: Monitor vessels and shipments to ensure timely delivery and proper documentation.
  • Approvals and Compliance: Obtain necessary approvals for procurement processes and ensure compliance with internal policies.
  • Costing and Documentation: Prepare accurate costing sheets and maintain records of procurement and trade activities.
  • End-to-End Coordination: Oversee the trade process from initiation to PO closure, ensuring all stakeholders are aligned.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Experience in commodity trade operations, procurement, or logistics support.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage tight deadlines.
  • Knowledge of international trade practices and LC processes is an advantage.
