ROLE OVERVIEW
We are seeking a Sales Director to lead and expand our data center services business. This role is responsible for developing high-impact sales strategies, driving revenue growth, and strengthening client relationships. The ideal candidate has deep industry expertise and a proven ability to lead sales teams, identify new opportunities, and navigate complex sales cycles.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to drive revenue growth and expand market presence.
- Lead, mentor, and manage the sales team to achieve and exceed targets.
- Identify and secure new business opportunities, fostering strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
- Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to refine sales strategies.
- Oversee the preparation and presentation of compelling sales proposals, contracts, and pricing structures.
- Collaborate closely with marketing and product teams to align sales initiatives with business objectives.
- Monitor and evaluate sales performance metrics, adjusting strategies as needed to optimize results.
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to enhance brand visibility.
- Maintain a strong understanding of data center technologies, services, and evolving industry trends.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. An MBA is a plus.
- 8+ years of sales experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role within the data center industry.
- Proven track record of driving revenue growth, managing complex sales cycles, and exceeding sales targets.
- Strong leadership, team management, and coaching skills.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities.
- In-depth knowledge of data center operations, services, and emerging technologies.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, competitive environment with strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
