Position Overview
The Accountant (APAR) will play a crucial role in managing and processing financial transactions with a particular focus on cryptocurrency operations. This role requires a meticulous professional capable of handling vendor payments, performing detailed reconciliations, and ensuring financial accuracy. He/she will be responsible for processing vendor invoices, issuing and managing monthly invoices, and supporting the company's unique financial requirements related to digital assets and traditional fiat payments.
The ideal candidate will bring with him/her minimum 1-2 years of experience in accounting, with a strong emphasis on accounts payable and financial reconciliation. Candidate who are familiar with cryptocurrency transactions and financial systems, as well as advanced communication skills in both English and Chinese, are highly desirable for this role. We are open to fresh graduates with keen interest in cryptocurrency to apply.
Work Schedule
- 4 days per week, covering both weekends and 2 workdays.
- Candidate are required to work on Public Holidays as per business needs.
Key Responsibilities
(1) Process Vendor Payments, including Reconcile Transactions
- Handle daily payments for vendor invoices, primarily in cryptocurrency, with backup support for fiat payments when needed.
- Perform daily reconciliation of cryptocurrency transactions to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Review and resolve any discrepancies in the transaction records. This includes ensuring all token transfers are correctly recorded.
(2) Project Based Crypto Processing
- Handle multiple projects’ crypto process, including but not limited to chain swap, minting & redemption
(3) Issue and Send Monthly Invoices, Month-End Closing
- Prepare and issue monthly invoices for sales, ensuring all client details and amounts are accurate.
- Send invoices to clients via email and follow up to ensure timely payment.
- Assist with monthly accounts payable and receivable close processes, ensuring all payments and invoices are properly recorded.
(4) Respond to Inquiries
- Address and resolve inquiries from internal teams or external vendors/clients regarding payments, invoices, or discrepancies.
(5) Other Ad-Hoc Duties (Non-inclusive list)
- Perform additional accounting tasks, such as data analysis, report generation, or assisting with financial documentation, as needed.
Requirements
- Minimum Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related field and above.
- A minimum of 1-2 years of experience in accounting, with a strong emphasis on accounts payable and financial reconciliation. Fresh Graduates are welcome to apply.
- Detailed knowledge and experience in financial reporting, transaction processing, and maintaining accurate financial records.
- Proficiency in accounting software and systems, alongside strong skills in Microsoft Excel and Google Workspace.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in financial data handling.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Adaptability to shifting priorities and schedules, including the flexibility to cover various shifts as needed.
- Familiarity with digital wallet management and cryptocurrency transactions is a plus.
- Advanced proficiency in Chinese (both spoken and written) is a plus for effective communication with Chinese-speaking clients and vendors.
