  • Align departmental core competencies to develop a technology roadmap that is feasible for the school's strategic objectives.
  • Oversee the development and execution of technology development projects and training courses in the emerging technology domains.
  • Lead and develop high-performing teams in the delivery of industry projects and training programs.
  • Identify and cultivate strategic partnerships with industry leaders, academic institutions and other key stakeholders.
  • Represent the organization at industry events, conferences, and forums to enhance visibility, build partnerships, and stay abreast of the latest industry developments.
  • Contribute to the design and delivery of training courses or projects and student development activities.

Job Requirements:

  • Relevant qualification in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or a related field.
  • At least 10 years of professional experience in the IT industry, preferably with a strong focus on emerging technologies such as AI.
  • Proven track record of successfully leading and developing high-performing teams
  • Possesses business development capabilities with demonstrated ability to identify and capitalise on growth opportunities and effectively planning and executing complex initiatives
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively influence and inspire others.
