- To raise manual invoices for ship manager and facilitate Oracle posting in Project module
- To assist with receipts matching and/or reversal within Oracle
- To facilitate month end closing tasks e.g. intercompany disbursement sweeping and cost allocation, revaluation of monetary items, clearing out balances for disabled entities
- To assist Senior Accounts Executive(s) with monthly checking of transactions (focusing on exceptions) for purpose of quarterly GST reporting
- Update balance sheet and profit and loss schedules for ship manager
- Preparation of SPV financial statements.
- Support the Corporate team in ad-hoc and selected processes which forms part of the normal day-to-day accounting work in GL
- Bachelors degree/ Diploma in Accountancy or equivalent.
- At least 2-3 years of relevant experience, preferably in the shipping industry.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills spoken and written English.
- A team player who is hands-on and meticulous in his/her work and can deliver within tight deadlines.
- Experience in ERP system environment, handling of system implementation projects.
- Working knowledge of Oracle / IMOS will be advantageous
