- Be up to date with local and international guidelines for areas supporting clinical and pharmaceutical Microbiology diagnostics
- Support country team in the submission of tenders by providing technical information where applicable.
- Prepare and present in seminars / workshops as needed
- Conduct workflow analysis and AIA (Automation Impact Analysis) for potential Kiestra lab automation customers
- Support marketing in gathering of market intelligence on market / competitor trends to support development of marketing strategies and future products
- Degree holder in Life Sciences, Major in Microbiology
- Minimum 2-3-years of technical support experience in Medical Laboratory setting, Medical Device Business, or related industry
- Strong technical and significant laboratory and/or scientific background in microbiology
- Strong technical background in molecular diagnostics, cytology, and phlebotomy will be added advantage.
- Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Effective communication skills to clearly articulate technical and product information to both internal and external customers.
- Strong teamwork and organizational skills to manage multiple priorities, make appointments, plan schedules and coordinate efforts with sales / marketing team, service and support teams.
- Comfortable working in a cross functional dynamic team environment
- Knowledge of information systems and IT architecture and development of custom interfaces with LIS will be added advantage.
