Its courses offer opportunities to upskill, reskill and develop new hobbies, through our short courses and certificate courses.Roles and ResponsibilitiesThe role involves undertaking contact/teaching hours per week in one of the following courses Acrylic/Oil Painting, Watercolour Painting, Singing, Dance Wellness, Music Therapy/Wellness, Art Therapy/Wellness and Floristry. You will design, prepare and develop documents such as lesson plans, assessment descriptors, as well as teaching resources and materials.This includes planning and supervising a variety of activities such as projects, productions, collaborations, assess students’ assignments/works/projects, as well as to prepare and maintain records relating to students’ progress, performance and attendance.A key part of the role includes conducting course reviews to ensure academic excellence. Keeping abreast on the development of discipline-related teaching practices and learning strategies is essential to integrating academic knowledge with real-world industry practices, providing students with valuable professional connections and insights.Requirements
  • You should possess a Bachelor’s Degree in a related discipline, with a minimum of five years of teaching and relevant working experience.
  • WSQ Advance Certificate in Training & Assessment (ACTA) or Advance Certificate in Learning & Performance (ACLP) will be desirable.
  • The ability to teach online via MS Teams, Zoom or Canvas and/or relevant applications is preferred.
  • You should be positive, enthusiastic and results-oriented, with the ability to engage adult learners.
  • Excellent command in written and spoken English is required, as well as communication, problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • A team player with strong interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships with students and industry partners will be essential.
