What the role is:We are looking for highly motivated and dynamic individual to join our team to safeguard the environmental and public health of Singapore. You will be part of the Vector Control and Operations Division, responsible for planning and implementing vector-borne diseases surveillance, prevention, and control programmes.   • Conceptualise strategies and formulate/review operational processes on vector control operations (with focus on Gravitrap related projects)
  • Assist in procurement and oversee the smooth running of vector control services / supplies contracts including processing of certification of works done and payment
  • Work closely with key stakeholders and NEA Regional Offices to implement and review operational programmes pertaining to vector control
  • Perform data analysis and prepare reports, proposals or submissions
  • Prepare inspection reports and present findings and recommendations to internal and external stakeholders
  • Review work processes to improve efficiency and productivity, including providing inputs for potential system and IT developments
  • Any other duties with regard to Vector Control work
What we are looking for:Requirements:
  • 2 years of relevant working experience in operations planning or contract management will be an advantage
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint
  • Enjoy thinking strategically, planning and applying analytical reasoning in operations management
  • Meticulous with an eye for detail
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle pressure, meet deadlines, multi-task, and adapt effectively in a dynamic environment
  • Highly self-motivated with a proactive approach to work
  • Mature, independent, and resourceful
  • A committed team player with a positive attitude
  • Willing to work after office hours, weekends, and public holidays if required
