We welcome you to embark on the next transformative phase of the SJC and join our team of committed professionals as: SENIOR ASSISTANT DIRECTOR / DEPUTY DIRECTOR INSTITUTE OF JUDICIAL EXCELLENCE (INTERNATIONAL)What you will be working on:The selected candidate will assist the Senior Director/Director in advancing SJC's international collaborations and activities to increase SJC's international mindshare. - Establish, expand and maintain SJC's international network and partnerships. - Represent SJC in the international arena. - Contribute to programme planning, collation of materials and resources and execution of international programmes, visits and activities, both in person and online. - Oversee and administer SJC's MOUs with international partners. - Provide support and assistance to Deanery in relation to international work, including preparation of funding request and providing talking points for international visits. - Liaise with the SG Courts' International Relations division and other relevant divisions or agencies on international matters.What we are looking for:Requirements: • 6 to 12 years of experience overseeing and managing international relations, of which at least 2 years should be in a supervisory role • Some experience in learning and development would be an advantage • Some experience in the legal or judicial industries would be an advantage • Proficient in IT and Microsoft applications • Inquisitive, strategy-oriented and with the ability to think outside the box for innovative solutions • Ability to interact and build positive work relations with stakeholders at all levels, within and across the organisation • Talented, energetic, adaptable individual with strong analytical and writing skills, people skills and leadership skills • Versatility to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a high-performance team in a fast-paced environment • Meticulous with a keen eye for detail and careful tracking of timelines Note: The successful candidate will be appointed on a one-year probationary contract in the first instance.
