The Job:

Financial Planning & Analysis:

  • Oversee the development and management of the annual regional budget, ensuring alignment with corporate financial objectives.
  • Produce precise financial forecasts to guide strategic business decisions.
  • Analyze financial data in detail, identifying trends, variances, and opportunities for cost reduction and revenue growth.

Financial Reporting:

  • Prepare and deliver monthly and quarterly financial reports, including key performance metrics.
  • Track and analyze KPIs and financial data, providing actionable insights to leadership.
  • Ensure all financial reporting complies with local accounting standards and company policies.

Compliance & Risk Management:

  • Ensure full compliance with local financial regulations, tax laws, and reporting obligations.
  • Establish and maintain strong internal controls to protect company assets and uphold the integrity of financial records.
  • Identify and address potential financial risks, developing strategies to mitigate them.

Strategic Financial Management:

  • Act as a key financial partner to regional leadership, providing insights to support informed decision-making.
  • Assess and analyze potential investment opportunities, mergers, acquisitions, and other strategic initiatives.
  • Implement cost management strategies and process improvements to enhance financial efficiency and profitability.

Team Leadership & Development:

  • Lead and mentor the finance team, offering guidance and growth opportunities to ensure continuous team development.
  • Cultivate a collaborative and high-performance culture within the team.

The Talent:

  • Industry Experience: At least 6 years of experience in finance analysis roles, with experience in a leadership or managerial position within the freight forwarding sector.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field, or professional qualifications such as ACCA, CA, CPA, or equivalent.
  • Software Proficiency: Expertise in SAP, along with advanced skills in MS Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Skills & Attributes:
  • Strong business insight and analytical abilities.
  • Proactive in problem-solving and simplifying processes.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage pressure, meet tight deadlines, and maintain accuracy.
