About Us
Our Client is the first AI native Asset Manager that both manages money as well as provides financial institutions with investment decision-making research. As they expand, they are looking for a dynamic and hands-on Chief Operating Officer (COO) to institutionalize their global operations, mature processes across investors, vendors and clients and embed a strong culture across their offices.
Role Overview
As COO, you will be responsible for operational excellence, governance, budgeting, and culture-embedding across our global offices. We need a high-energy leader who thrives in fast-paced environments, is detail-oriented, and can take ownership of vendors, service providers, board compliance, financial modeling, and people operations to help scale the business effectively.
Key Responsibilities
1. Operations & Vendor Management
Oversee all vendors, contracts, and service providers, ensuring cost-efficiency and compliance.
Manage payroll, bookkeeping, and financial reporting, working closely with external service providers.
Ensure regulatory compliance and governance across multiple jurisdictions (Singapore, Canada, UK).
Develop and implement scalable operational processes to support business growth.
2. Capital cycle
Handle back-office documentation for board meetings, capital raising and investment activities.
Assist in fundraising activities by managing due diligence, compliance, and investor relations documentation.
Track financial performance and support strategic financial decision-making.
3. Culture & People Leadership
Act as the culture evangelist, ensuring embodiment of Blue Fire AI's culture in all new and existing staff, including firing staff who do not fit anymore
Manage service provider for HR and people operations, including talent onboarding, employee engagement, and team cohesion.
Drive company-wide initiatives to strengthen collaboration, well-being, and workplace culture.
Requirements
5+ years of experience in operations, legal structuring, deal making, or business administration.
Strong finance/accounting/law background (preferred but not mandatory).
Hands-on experience managing vendors, contracts, and financial documentation.
High-energy, adaptable, and able to work across multiple time zones.
Passionate about building a strong company culture and driving operational efficiency.
