We are looking for an individual to join us in our finance team, working with professionals from across departments and geographies. You will be responsible for the finance activities including daily accounting operations, monthly closing, statutory audit and reporting as well as tax matters. This position will be based in Singapore, reporting to the Senior Finance Manager.

What will you do

  • Prepare and maintain financial reports and accounting records in accordance with corporate guidelines, corporate timelines and local statutory requirements
  • Manage the full spectrum of the accounting functions, including payables and receivables, fixed assets management, general ledger, and cash flow management
  • Prepare monthly journal and balance sheet reconciliations, checking and ensuring proper accounting treatment, completeness, and accuracy
  • Provide accurate, timely, and relevant recording, reporting, and analysis of financial information
  • Process and check staff expense claims for any inconsistency
  • Assist in the preparation of the quarterly GST report and review annual tax returns
  • Coordinate and liaise with external parties (e.g. external auditors, tax agents, corporate secretarial agents, local tax and government authorities) where required
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to seek for continuous improvements in internal processes
  • Support finance team on ad-hoc tasks and projects

What do we expect

  • BS degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in similar position in an international environment
  • Resourceful and able to work independently with a strong sense of responsibility.
  • Meticulous and excellent time management
  • Knowledge of Direct and Indirect tax
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to communicate effectively across the organization
  • Excellent Microsoft Excel skills
  • Knowledge of SAP B1 a benefit
