Job Description:

As an E-Pharmacy Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the seamless operation of our e-pharmacy platform. This is a customer-facing position that requires a minimum of 3 years of experience in a retail pharmacy setting. The successful candidate will be responsible for a range of e-pharmacy functions, including stock management, purchasing functions, digital transformation, and customer service.

Responsibilities:

E-Pharmacy Operations:

  • Efficiently manage day-to-day operations of the e-pharmacy platform.
  • Able to maintain top customer service, manage customer enquiries and/or resolve complaints swiftly.
  • Ensure accurate and timely processing of online orders, prescription refills, and digital transactions.
  • Collaborate with the IT team to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to the e-pharmacy platform.

Stock Management and Purchasing:

  • Monitor inventory levels and initiate replenishment orders to maintain optimal stock levels.
  • Collaborate with suppliers to negotiate pricing, discounts, and delivery terms.
  • Implement effective stock rotation strategies and manage product recalls efficiently.

Adaptability and Digital Transformation:

  • Stay abreast of industry trends and technological advancements in the e-pharmacy landscape.
  • Proactively adapt to changes in the digital environment and contribute to the continuous improvement of e-pharmacy processes.
  • Contribute to the development, management and implementation of digital transformation projects.
  • Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) of new features of the e-pharmacy

Process Improvement:

  • Identify opportunities for process optimization and efficiency enhancement.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to implement process improvement initiatives.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the impact of process improvements.

Drug Knowledge and Customer Service:

  • Possess in-depth knowledge of pharmaceuticals, including drug-drug interactions and potential side effects.
  • Provide accurate and helpful drug advice to customers and healthcare professionals.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service, addressing inquiries, and resolving issues promptly.

Qualifications:

Diploma in Pharmaceutical Science or equivalent. Minimum of 3 years of experience in a retail pharmacy setting.
