Our esteemed client, an established MNC, is searching for a Electronics Design Engineer:
Job Responsibilities
- Design and develop analog, digital, and mixed-signal electronics for Public Address Systems, Intercom Systems, and Information Display Systems.
- Design, optimize, and validate electronic circuits to meet design and functional requirements.
- Create schematics using Altium Designer.
- Conduct First Article Inspection (FAI) with customers.
- Prepare technical reviews, technical reports, and verification/validation test reports.
- Conduct product Electromagnetic Interference (EMI) and Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) certification activities.
- Perform root cause analysis and resolve technical issues.
- Prepare manufacturing documents, including Bill of Materials (BOM), XY data, and test requirements.
- Support the transfer of products to manufacturing vendors.
- Provide on-site testing and commissioning support for equipment.
Job Requirements:
- Degree in Electronics Engineering with 2 years of electronics design experience
- Diploma in Electronics Engineering with more than 10 years of electronics design experience.
- Knowledge of Public Address, Intercom, and Information Display Systems in metro railway applications is an advantage.
- Strong understanding of microprocessors, digital electronics, and mixed-signal design.
- Experience in designing audio amplifier circuits; knowledge of echo cancellation is a plus.
- Proficiency in design verification tests, design optimization, reliability tests, and root cause analysis of electronic circuits.
- Familiarity with EMI/EMC countermeasures, design for manufacturing (DFM), and design for testing (DFT).
- Experience with high-speed digital interfaces such as USB, MIPI, HDMI, and LVDS.
- Knowledge of Design Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (D-FMEA), Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (P-FMEA), Engineering Change Notice (ECN), and production processes is advantageous.
- Hands-on experience in troubleshooting electronic circuits using oscilloscopes, multimeters, and audio analyzers.
- Proficiency in Altium and Cadence CAD software.
- Ability to work independently with strong personal work ethics.
- Team player with the ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams.
- Comfortable working in a deadline-driven environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
