With its ambitious plans of accelerated growth and also transformational projects in the making, we are partnering our client a growing fuels and convenience retailer in hiring for their Director, Business Development, Asia. This role shall provide leadership and guidance to the business as it goes through these very exciting times.

Responsibilities

Reporting into the SVP, Strategic Planning you would be responsible for developing and leading the strategic business expansion plan for the Asia markets. As a key member of the project team, you shall identify the partners to work via franchisee, JV or M&A and eventually lead the operational and commercial plans. You will also actively collaborate with various stakeholders, such as licenses, franchisees, joint venture partners to ensure the business growth in the country.

Requirements

You are degree qualified with at least 12 years strategic development experience in the QSR, convenience or fuel retail experience. SEA market experience is a must, you would also be a thought leader with strong commercial acumen with the networks/ relationships with partners. You would successfully demonstrate the ability to be a self starter, able to work with senior stakeholders and drive success together with the team. As the right candidate, you would have a good degree of presence, collaborative in mindset and finally action oriented.
