Your new role

Join their team as a Field Service Engineer, where you'll play a critical role in installing, upgrading, and maintaining cutting-edge CVD/PVD systems in cleanroom environments. If you're a self-motivated and technically savvy individual with a passion for troubleshooting and problem-solving, I'd love to hear from you!

Below are some of the key responsibilities for the role;

  • Install and commission CVD/PVD systems at customer sites, ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance.
  • Perform system upgrades and maintenance tasks, often on short notice, to minimize downtime and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with their Lead Engineer to develop and implement effective warranty and support strategies.
  • Provide prompt and detailed reports on fieldwork, system issues, and troubleshooting efforts.
  • Participate in meetings, conference calls, and training sessions to stay up-to-date on industry developments and best practices.

What you'll need to succeed

The successful candidate, should have;

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (or equivalent) with at least 1 year of experience in CVD/PVD equipment and cleanroom fabrication.
  • Alternatively, Diploma holders with 3+ years of relevant experience will be considered.
  • Proven troubleshooting skills, with the ability to work independently and think critically.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers, colleagues, and stakeholders.
  • PLC knowledge is a plus, but not required.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
