Department Overview:

Aristos Solutions Business Unit focuses on creating customised state-of-the-art automation solutions for all possible industries. By utilising Akribis Systems' direct drive linear and rotary system, we are able to achieve high speed and high precision assembly, inspection or testing solution for our customer.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Project execution of Repeat Order machine systems

• Optimize design of existing Mechanical Assemblies (i.e. improve performance, reduce costing, minimize overall inventory)

• Assist in Concept development for New machine systems

• Generation of Bill on Materials

• 3D CAD Modelling, and 2D Drawing detailing. Communication with vendors during fabrication process

• Assembly and setup of prototype machine according to Design Intent

• Project coordination with various departments/Engineering disciplines (i.e. Program Management, Procurement, Electrical, Application, Software, Manufacturing, Field Service)

• Technical documentation of work done (i.e. Work Instructions, Design Intents, Component sizing calculations)• Understanding specifications/requirements from customers

Requirement:

-Candidate must process at least Degree in Mechanical/Mechatronic Engineering, or equivalent

OR

-Fresh graduates with relevant knowledge in their course of study are welcome to apply

Skillset(s) Requirement:

• Understanding of basic mechanical engineering analysis and design calculations for precision design

• Hands-on experience in performing mechanical assembly, testing validation, troubleshooting.

• Knowledge in the preparation of basic technical documentation (e.g. Assembly work instructions)

• Knowledge of CAD tools (Familiarity with SolidWorks an advantage)

• Experiences with the following frameworks would be a plus: Tolerance Analysis, Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (PFMEA), Design for Manufacturing and Assembly (DFMA), FInite Element Analysis (FEA)

• Experiences with motion system components would be a plus: Linear Bearings, Direct Drive Motors, Encoders
