" Managing and planning with the ships and the Marine team, the commercial operations of the fleet, including the allocation of vessels within the Fleet. Ensuring provision of adequate Fleet resources to effectively manage allocated vessels.
" Liaise with the vessel owners, the commercial operators, the charterers and sub-charterers for execution of the C/P terms and conditions.
" Liaise closely with the Fleet Cell on operational needs with the objective of vessel availability for commercial operations.

" Reporting of incidents and other items of concern to the Line Manager and/ or top management and assist as required. In consultation with the management team, ensuring that Owners are advised of incidents or other concerns which affect their ship.
" Identifying the training needs of the Marine Management team. Developing programmes for continuous improvement and to ensure that staff are kept aware of new regulations and industry initiatives.
" For vessels scheduled for dry-docks, liaise with the fleet cell to ensure that the scope of commercial readiness including Charterers complaints are taken into account when planning the dock specifications.
" Liaise and assist as necessary in HSSEQ related activities.
" Other activities as instructed by the Line Manager.
" Ensure the maintenance of the highest standards of ship management practices are met fulfilling the expectations of the Clients and commercial stakeholders.
" Ensure that client relationships are pro-actively controlled by continually improving the level of service provided in accordance with the management agreement.
