Phillip Jeffries is looking for a Sales Representative to join our International Sales Team!

We are currently accepting resumes for a Sales Representative to call on the Residential and Contract Interior Designer community in Singapore territory. The ideal candidate must be self-motivated and have a broad base of existing relationships with key influencers within the industry. This is a full-time on-site role located in Singapore and will report to the Sales Manager.

What you will be doing:

Selling:

  • Grow sales within the Singapore sales territory.
  • Promote sales by calling on existing and new commercial interior designers, architects and upscale retailers
  • Proactively recognize cross selling opportunities, using product knowledge to offer similar patterns and designs to customers in order to increase revenue
  • Make outbound calls to customers following sample requests in order to close sale or recommend alternative products
  • Follow ups on open quotes, and projects, including: making outbound calls to customers; following samples’ requests in order to close sale or recommend alternative products.
  • Work at Exhibitions

Prospecting and Lead Generation:

  • Prospect new customers and opportunities.
  • Place binders, sampling and point of sales material.
  • Identify luxury and best clients for brand.

Sales Analysis:

  • Provide weekly sales reports and monthly recaps
  • Keep CRM updated with opportunities, client visits, project shops, tasks, contacts and clients.
  • Post monthly sales recap to the Sales Teams Channel.
  • Register opportunities and projects.
  • Meeting with the team when required or at least 2 times per week.

Business Development

  • Increase awareness of the brand in social media, working at Exhibitions.
  • Proactively recognize cross selling opportunities, using product knowledge to offer similar patterns and designs to customers in order to increase revenue in Spain.

Must have:

  • Candidate must currently live in Singapore
  • 4+ years industry related Sales and/or Interior Design experience preferred
  • Candidate must be a Singaporean or Singapore Permanent Resident
  • Fluency in English and Mandarin is preferred
  • Keen interest and appreciation for luxury products and interior design
  • Experience selling, tracking and reporting on a multiple project pipeline
  • In-depth knowledge of Sales best practices
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients
  • Self-motivated (hunter attitude) and target-driven
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel and CRM software
  • Social Media savvy
  • Ability to travel when required (tradeshows, events at headquarters, etc.)
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field
