Roles & Responsibilities
Job Description:
Conduct EHS Training Programs
Design, develop, and deliver engaging training sessions tailored to different employee groups
Develop Training Materials
Create clear, practical, and visually engaging materials such as presentations, manuals, handouts, and e-learning modules to support effective learning across various roles and job functions.
Evaluate Training Effectiveness
Assess training success through post-training evaluations, quizzes, practical assessments, and on-site observations to ensure that knowledge is retained and applied correctly in the workplace.
Tracking and Reporting Training Metrics
Maintain comprehensive training records, monitor employee progress, track certifications and renewals, and report on training outcomes, effectiveness, and areas for improvement, identifying compliance gaps or trends in safety incidents.
Compliance Monitoring
Regularly update training programs to reflect changes in safety regulations, best practices, and industry standards, ensuring full compliance with local and international laws.
Lead New Hire Orientation
Facilitate comprehensive EHS orientation sessions for new employees, introducing them to safety protocols, PPE requirements, emergency procedures, and hazard awareness specific to their roles and construction site conditions.
Promote a Safety Culture
Foster a culture of safety and environmental responsibility throughout the organization by communicating the importance of safety, encouraging engagement, and reinforcing positive behaviours among all employees.
Analyse Incident Trends and Provide Feedback
Review safety incidents and near-miss reports to identify patterns or areas needing improvement, providing constructive feedback to management and making necessary adjustments to training programs.
Requirements:
- 2 years in WSH & Training Experience
- Strong understanding of Singapore’s Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) laws, Standards and Code of Practices (COP).
- Degree in Occupational Safety, Health, and Environmental or equivalent & ACTA Cert
- Able to explain safety practices clearly to all levels of staff
- Only Bengali Speaking
- Familiar with EHS software
