As an HSEQ Manager, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality (HSEQ) management systems and practices for FPSO conversion projects. This role requires a proactive leader who can ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and company standards while fostering a culture of continuous improvement in safety and quality.

Key Responsibilities

HSEQ Management System:

  • Develop and implement HSEQ policies, procedures, and standards specific to FPSO conversion projects.
  • Ensure the HSEQ management system complies with local, national, and international regulations.

Safety Leadership

  • Promote a safety-first culture across all project teams and subcontractors.
  • Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies for identified hazards.
  • Oversee incident investigations, root cause analysis, and the development of corrective actions.

Environmental Stewardship

  • Ensure environmental compliance throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Develop and implement environmental management plans, including waste management and pollution control measures.

Quality Assurance

  • Implement and maintain a quality management system (QMS) to ensure project deliverables meet the highest standards.
  • Conduct regular audits, inspections, and reviews to ensure adherence to quality standards.
  • Oversee quality control activities and coordinate with relevant stakeholders to resolve quality issues.

Training And Development

  • Develop and deliver HSEQ training programs for project staff and subcontractors.
  • Foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement in HSEQ practices.

Reporting And Documentation

  • Prepare regular HSEQ performance reports for senior management and relevant authorities.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date HSEQ records and documentation.

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Collaborate with clients, regulatory bodies, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment with HSEQ standards.
  • Represent the company in HSEQ-related meetings and forums.

What We're Looking For

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field. Professional certifications (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH, ISO 9001/14001/45001) are highly desirable.
  • Experience: Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in HSEQ management within the maritime or oil & gas industry, with at least 5 years in FPSO conversion projects.
  • Skills:
  • Strong knowledge of HSEQ regulations, standards, and best practices.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Proficient in using HSEQ management software and tools.
