Key Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Business Development Manager in Singapore and working in collaboration with global client & markets, brand and communications teams, the candidate is expected to do the following:
- Coordinates the preparation of client RFPs, presentations, proposals and pitches.
- Drafts and edits practice and sector materials including brochures, lawyer biographies and client presentations in support of the Firm’s business development opportunities.
- Collects and tracks representative experience and facilitates maintenance of the Firm’s experience database.
- Maintains library of materials for pitches, proposals and RFP responses.
- Conducts research on current and prospective clients and industry trends.
- Prepares submissions and interviews for various industry publications, e.g. Chambers Asia Pacific, IFLR1000 and Legal 500 Asia Pacific.
- Collates and maintains a database of the Firm’s credentials, i.e., awards, rankings, accolades.
- Works with practice leaders to support and coordinate business development initiatives, e.g., client events and meetings.
- Assists with events and webinars – internal and external
- Managing the Firm’s CRM database
- Works on special projects as requested by department management and lawyers.
Requirements:
- A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
- Excellent verbal and written English skills
- Minimum two years marketing and/or business development experience
- Proficient in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Excellent organizational and project management skills
Preferred:
- Law firm or professional services experience
- Working knowledge of customer relationship management (CRM) and other database e.g. Nexl
- Familiarity with ranking submissions, i.e. Chambers Asia Pacific, league tables, etc
- Experience in working with senior stakeholders/C-suite executives
