Senior Embedded Software Engineer
Our esteemed client, an established MNC, is searching for a Senior Embedded Software Engineer:
Job Responsibilities
- Design and develop a robust, scalable, and secure train-borne radio system.
- Ensure compliance with 3GPP standards for seamless integration with various 4G and 5G user equipment (UEs).
- Implement communication protocols for interfacing with 4G/5G modems using AT commands.
- Ensure reliable data transmission between the device and other networked systems.
- Develop efficient software solutions that interface with train subsystems.
- Collaborate with hardware teams to ensure seamless interaction between software and hardware components.
- Create detailed technical documentation and provide support for troubleshooting and system maintenance.
- Ensure that software implementation adheres to coding standards and engineering best practices.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years in software development, with a strong focus on radio communication systems.
- Proficiency in C/C++ and Python programming.
- Strong knowledge of network protocols and technologies, including TCP/IP, HTTPS, LTE, and 5G.
- Hands-on experience in interfacing with 5G modems.
- Strong understanding of multi-threading and real-time processing.
- Expertise in Linux, including kernel configuration, scripting, and system administration.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex system issues effectively.
- Proven leadership experience in managing projects and mentoring junior engineers.
Additional Information:
- Salary: Up to SGD 5,500
- Working Location: North
- Working Hours: 5 Days' Work
- 1 Year Contract, Renewable
