Job Responsibilities:

Assist Senior Manager (Cogeneration) to manage the BMCC plant in the following areas:

  • Manage the cogeneration shift teams to operate the BMCC plant continuously
  • Oversees the safe operation of the two CFB boilers, two STGs, three BUBs and electrical Systems up to 66kV.
  • Tracking and scheduling of equipment routine testing and preservation and evaluation of test results
  • Working closely with the Plant Performance Team and Shift Managers on CFB and STG optimization.
  • Tracking and monitoring of possible high price and discuss with Trading on strategy to optimize power generation.
  • Co-ordination for:

a) Maintenance shutdown planning for maintenance and major plant repair

b) Commissioning of any new system

c) Conduct routine weekly defects meeting, identification of plant defects and schedule for repair

d) Investigation and reporting of outages and abnormal incidents

  • Department document control and administration.

Job Requirements

  • Degree in Engineering with at least 5 years of relevant work experience.
  • Work Experience: Engaged in power plant production, operation and management with vast experience in coal-fired power generation production, operation and management.
