- To perform all roles and responsibilities required of site supervisors/ resident technical officer under the Building Control Act
- To supervise the timely execution of the works and maintain quality control and ensure that the works are carried out in accordance with the contract specifications
- To review all Authority's and Contractor's drawings
- To provide all relevant endorsements required by the relevant authorities
- Supervise all works including all civil and architectural works, plumbing, sanitary, drainage, irrigation and sewer system, commuters facilities, road works, trial trenches and utilities diversion etc.
- To coordinate the contractor, AC, QP(D), relevant agencies, including interfacing contractors and consultants etc for the works
- Check on quality of works, materials and samples delivered to site, take measures to rectify any non-compliance and report to OIC
- To review and supervise safety, environmental and health matters
- To supervise the installation of instrumentation
- To supervise sanitary and plumbing installations, pump drainage works etc
- To review, evaluate and assess the monitoring of instrumentation and interpretation of the results and provide analytical results/presentations
- To review Contractor's design and supervise all works associated to micro-tunneling and mining, Flyover works, sewer diversion (including shaft construction and pipe-jacking operations.
- To undertake any other duties including administrative tasks related to the project as and when required
Requirements:
- Diploma or Degree in Civil and Structural Engineering
- At least 5 years’ of experience, of which 2 years experience in major construction works like deep excavation, drainage, pipe jacking, ground improvement, supervising & installation of monitoring instruments and collating of monitoring data
- Possess a valid RTO cert by IES Singapore
