PROJECT MANAGER
(Construction sector)
Responsibilities:
- Overall project planning, control and monitoring of project’s operations
- Lead the project team for the implementation and execution of works as according to planned schedule
- Schedule and executing the delivery of projects within time, budget and Client’s expectations
- Detailed and meticulous in site planning/coordination to minimize errors in the process of completing the project
- Ensure efficient use of manpower, equipment, material and resources on site
- Ensure high level of site safety and housekeeping
- Ensure that works are executed in accordance with approved plans/drawings, contract specifications and regulatory requirements
- Involved in discussion on contractual matters and with Sub-Contractors, Consultants & Clients
- Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors ie. Consultants and Sub-Contractors/Suppliers for the flawless execution of all projects
- Manage sub-contractors to ensure timely delivery and good quality of work
- Conduct regular site safety meeting and to implement safe site working condition and environmental control measures
- Negotiate subcontractor deductions for project non-compliance and breaches
- Conduct internal meetings for assigned projects and subsequently, monitor such follow up meetings
- Any other duties as assigned by the Management
Requirements:
- Degree in Civil Engineering or its equivalent degree recognized by PE Board
- Minimum 5 to 8 years of relevant experience in the construction industry, preferably experience in HDB BTO and private residential, government, commercial and building D & B projects etc
- Excellent project management skills
- Possess good leadership and organizing abilities
- Only Singaporean / SPR need apply
