PROJECT MANAGER

Responsibilities:

• Overall project planning, control and monitoring of project’s operations
• Lead the project team for the implementation and execution of works as according to planned schedule
• Schedule and executing the delivery of projects within time, budget and Client’s expectations
• Detailed and meticulous in site planning/coordination to minimize errors in the process of completing the project
• Ensure efficient use of manpower, equipment, material and resources on site
• Ensure high level of site safety and housekeeping
• Ensure that works are executed in accordance with approved plans/drawings, contract specifications and regulatory requirements
• Involved in discussion on contractual matters and with Sub-Contractors, Consultants & Clients
• Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors ie. Consultants and Sub-Contractors/Suppliers for the flawless execution of all projects
• Manage sub-contractors to ensure timely delivery and good quality of work
• Conduct regular site safety meeting and to implement safe site working condition and environmental control measures
• Negotiate subcontractor deductions for project non-compliance and breaches
• Conduct internal meetings for assigned projects and subsequently, monitor such follow up meetings
• Any other duties as assigned by the Management

Requirements:

• Degree in Civil Engineering or its equivalent degree recognized by PE Board
• Minimum 5 to 8 years of relevant experience in the construction industry, preferably experience in HDB BTO and private residential, government, commercial and building D & B projects etc
• Excellent project management skills
• Possess good leadership and organizing abilities
• Only Singaporean / SPR need apply
