Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide trauma-informed casework and counseling to support healing and resilience in children, youths and their families
- Conduct assessments and home visits to understand clients’ needs and environments.
- Manage end-to-end casework, including assessments, intervention planning, follow-ups, and crisis support.
- Conduct psychoeducation and outreach to raise awareness and equip the community and other professionals with trauma-informed knowledge.
- Collaborate with stakeholders and external agencies to mobilize resources for clients.
- Work closely with fellow professionals to ensure holistic and coordinated care.
- Complete case assessments, reports, and administrative tasks related to case management.
- Participate in internal research to enhance trauma-informed practices.
- Degree/Graduate Diploma in Social Work or equivalent.
- Experience in parenting, family issues, or children’s social care is a plus.
- Knowledge of trauma-informed care and attachment issues is an advantage.
- Strong report writing, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Bilingual and able to engage diverse communities. Malay speaking applicants is an advantage.
- Resilient, self-motivated, and a team player with a learning mindset.
- Willing to work after office hours and some Saturdays when required.
