Roles & Responsibilities

  • Provide trauma-informed casework and counseling to support healing and resilience in children, youths and their families
  • Conduct assessments and home visits to understand clients’ needs and environments.
  • Manage end-to-end casework, including assessments, intervention planning, follow-ups, and crisis support.
  • Conduct psychoeducation and outreach to raise awareness and equip the community and other professionals with trauma-informed knowledge.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and external agencies to mobilize resources for clients.
  • Work closely with fellow professionals to ensure holistic and coordinated care.
  • Complete case assessments, reports, and administrative tasks related to case management.
  • Participate in internal research to enhance trauma-informed practices.

Requirements

  • Degree/Graduate Diploma in Social Work or equivalent.
  • Experience in parenting, family issues, or children’s social care is a plus.
  • Knowledge of trauma-informed care and attachment issues is an advantage.
  • Strong report writing, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Bilingual and able to engage diverse communities. Malay speaking applicants is an advantage.
  • Resilient, self-motivated, and a team player with a learning mindset.
  • Willing to work after office hours and some Saturdays when required.
