What does a successful Partnerships Manager do at Fiserv?

The Partnerships Manager must be an accomplished contributor who possesses excellent knowledge and experience in pitching and managing integrations and commercial partnerships.

Fiserv is in a rapid growth phase in merchant services, building and scaling key software offerings for small and medium businesses. This new partner boarding so role will involve identifying the right partners based on merchant segment needs, negotiating partnership terms, managing accounts and being accountable for executing against the deployment and scale up of partners.

This role will concentrate on partners across our core acquiring markets of Hong Kong, Singapore as well as management of broader regional partnerships.

What you will do:

  • Rapid scaling of new partnership relationships. Taking a mix of tactical and strategic approach to partners.
  • Lead business development and partner acquisition efforts by identifying new partnerships opportunities, building strategic partnerships, and developing strategies to drive revenue growth.
  • Build winning commercial models to drive successful outcomes for Fiserv and partners
  • Can do attitude and ability to work unsupervised and ability to manage and negotiate with senior executives of clients and internally with Fiserv
  • Work with partners to adopt the latest and newest technologies and enhancements Fiserv has to offer
  • Ensure partners deliver to commitments, so we jointly deliver the desired proposition to merchants and achieve agreed business outcomes

What you will need to have:

  • 8-12 years’ of relevant experience in Partnerships Sales and business development
  • 2-3 years' experience in POS (point of sale)/SaaS, with good understanding of POS, Terminals, Ecommerce and Scheme partnership models
  • Min. 5 years of experience in managing partners, especially in the sales and technology and project leading through integrations, sales campaigns, account follow up and reporting

  • Strong interpersonal communication skills and thrive with engaging all levels of stakeholders

  • Demonstrated ability to negotiate with different levels of stakeholders, coupled with the confidence to present to C-Suite audience
  • Excellent command of English, Cantonese, and Mandarin desirable
  • Occasional travel across APAC region
