Key Responsibilities:
Audit Planning:
- Establish and maintain appropriate policies and procedures for the internal audit function.
- Prepare risk-based audit plans to set out the priorities of the internal audit function.
- Coordinate internal audit plans and activities with group companies in Southeast Asia, Pacific, and India regions
Fieldwork:
- Conduct preliminary surveys of each group company and major functional areas through interviews, etc.
- Perform audit fieldwork in accordance with the audit plan.
- Identify factors causing deficient conditions and provide constructive, economical, and practical recommendations for findings.
- Determine material weaknesses in internal controls of various areas, including adequacy and efficiency of administration and operations.
- Discuss findings with auditees upon closing of the fieldwork.
Reporting:
- Prepare audit reports of each audit finding and recommendation.
- Explain the results of each audit to the management.
- Report annual audit results to the management.
Follow-up:
- Follow up on improvements and remedial actions on audit findings and report progress to the management.
Quality Assurance and Improvement Program (QAIP):
- Conduct and implement QAIP and report to HQ.
Regional Compliance:
- Promote and enforce Group Global Policies and Procedures (GPPs) on Anti-Bribery/Anti-Corruption, Anti-Trust/Competition Laws, and Export Controls/Strategic Trade Management, etc.
- Support the enactment and revision process of Group/Regional/Corporate policies and procedures.
- Coordinate compliance seminars in the region.
- Execute compliance trainings and risk assessments in the region.
- Participate in ad-hoc investigations and reviews of non-compliance cases.
- Monitor the latest compliance news in the region and provide information to Group companies.
Compliance:
- Promote and support -AP’s internal control and compliance (Anti-Bribery/Anti-Corruption, Anti-Trust/Competition Laws, and Export Controls/Strategic Trade Management, etc.).
- Serve as a checker for competitor contact applications, donation/entertainment/gift applications, export control/strategic trade management screening, etc., in line with GPPs and Singapore Laws & Regulations.
- Provide regular compliance trainings and monitor the status of annual Group e-Learning.
- Perform self-check assessments (QAIP, J-SOX, and Export Control, etc.) and report to HQ.
Requirements:
- Min Bachelor Degree or equivalent
- Min 5-years experience in compliance activities (and possible internal audit)
- Experience of compliance promotion activities (Anti-bribery / Anti-Corruption, AntiTrust / Competition Laws, Export Controls / Strategic Trade Management)
- Required to travel to countries in Southeast Asia, India, Bangladesh, Japan, Australia etc for audit activities
