Aon is looking for a Senior Associate within the Transaction Advisory Services (“TAS”) team, as part of Aon’s M&A and Transaction Solutions (“AMATS”) practice in Asia.

With a dedicated focus on transactional activity, the TAS team provides insurance advisory services, including Insurance Diligence, Human Capital, Cyber and Credit Solutions, to private equity and infrastructure funds as well as strategic, corporate buyers, on both buy-side and sell-side opportunities. Responsibilities of the Senior Associate includes supporting the team in the management of M&A insurance due diligence engagements which provide project management and advisory services to Buyers and Sellers in the pre-acquisition and pre-sale environment, and the pro-active identification of any additional M&A insurance solutions and wider advisory services that Aon may also be able to provide to clients during the transaction and following the completion of a deal.

Key to the role will be the coordination of Aon resources, technical advice and solutions across various geographies and practices within Aon.

Key responsibilities will involve:

  • Support the team in the provision of insurance due diligence advisory for private equity, infrastructure and corporate clients in support of their M&A processes;
  • Help determine opportunities for cross-selling other Aon products, services, and solutions including but not limited to Cyber, Credit, Human Capital and Portfolio value-creation solutions to our fund clients
  • Support project management engagement
  • Liaise with clients and other advisors
  • Help coordinate internal Aon expertise/resources/solutions across various practices and geographies
  • Assist in the management of post-close program placement

Skills and experience that will lead to success

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Finance or Law
  • Prior experience in a finance, legal or consulting role, with an understanding of how M&A deals are conducted
  • Confident communicator (written/verbal) with excellent presenting skills
  • Good multi-tasker, who takes initiative and is willing to learn
  • Proficiency in MS Office suite – Word, Excel, PowerPoint
