Job Responsibilities

Manager shall report to General Manager and shall have the responsibility to:

  • Responsible for day-to-day Marine operations to ensure the safe navigation, mooring, ballast, and cargo operation of vessels under his care.
  • Monitor the vessel’s performance as per time charter.
  • Manage Navigational practice and cargo handling.
  • Conduct the incident and accident investigation.
  • Set up standards for manual operation, investigate operational issues and coordinate between all divisions.
  • Manage vessel operation technology, vessel operation efficiency and cargo technology.
  • Appointed as Lead Navigation, cargo and mooring Auditor.
  • Implement the company’s objectives of the division.
  • Manage navigational practices and cargo handling.
  • Investigate navigational and cargo operational issues.
  • Manage the ship shore communications.
  • Carry out ship shore compatibility.
  • Marine casualty management as per LMS
  • Provide general support to buyers/sellers.
  • Monitor terminal regulation and information.

Job Requirement

  • Candidate must hold a Marine Mariner License
  • Must have sailing experience as Master on LNG vessels minimum 2 years.
  • Must have working experience in ship management company.
  • Familiar with international and local maritime regulations.
  • Good knowledge of Ship shore compatibility process and Optimoor study.
  • Good communications skill and fluent in English.
  • Physical ability to perform in port and sailing audits.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of the team.
  • Certification from recognized institute to perform ISM/ISPS/MLC is preferred.
  • Certification from recognized institute to perform Navigational Audits & Soft Skill Assessment is preferred.
