Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
  • Professional certifications such as MSc/MBA, CPA, CMA, ACCA, or CFA are required.
  • Knowledge of intellectual property (IP) development accounting and capitalisation rules for IP/intangible assets.
  • Mastery of IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards).

You will excel in this role if you possess:

  • 10-15 years of post-qualification experience.
  • Prior experience in technology/ wealth or venture capital industries.
  • Extensive senior-level accountancy experience, including directorship and board reporting.
  • Comprehensive understanding of corporate finance and accounting principles, laws, and best practices.
  • Expertise in areas like receivables, payables, payroll, and treasury functions.
  • Proven experience managing a team responsible for accounting functions within an organization.
  • Familiarity with accounting practices for advanced technology businesses.
  • Experience in project-based accounting and finance business partnering.
