Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Offshore Project Engineers for project work based in our Singapore office, preferably willing and able to travel offshore if required.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for producing umbilical / flexible / mooring lines procedure
  • Responsible for producing installation/construction vessel mobilisation plan
  • Support and provide technical inputs for umbilical / flexible / mooring lines installation analysis
  • Support and provide technical inputs for the procurement of specialised 3rd party services (survey, WROV, diving, etc)
  • Support and provide technical inputs for the procurement of project equipment and materials
  • Support and coordinate with clients' needs; identifies and addresses parameters and problems; develops and implements fit for purpose solutions with a clear focus on cost and risks reduction.
  • Represents the Company in meetings/correspondence with Clients, Subcontractors, 3rd Parties etc., in a technical capacity.
  • Coordinate and ensure that standard of engineering services provided complies with relevant codes, client engineering standards and current good engineering practice.
  • Provide support for production of deliverables, which may include specifications, analyses, progress reports, study reports and various 3rd-party submissions. Signs and issues technical documentation as originator or checker, accepting personal responsibility for its adequacy.
  • Provide active engagement and promote knowledge sharing, capture of Lessons Learned and application of Engineering Standards.

Requirements

  • Professional qualifications Engineering Degree (Demonstrable experience in a similar role will also be considered)
  • Relevant engineering experience (3+ years) in the Subsea Umbilical Riser Flowline (SURF) within the Marine and/or Oil and Gas industry
  • Identifies industry codes, standards, and design guidelines
  • Competency in non-technical software such as MS Office including Excel, Word, and Power Point
  • Understanding of relevant industry codes, standards, and guidelines is desired (e.g., API and DNV).
