  1. Make sure the webpage is open.
  2. In the Safari app on your Mac, choose Safari > Preferences, then click Security.
  3. Make sure the Enable JavaScript checkbox is selected.
  4. Click Websites.
  5. On the left, click Content Blockers.
  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

The Singapore Immunology Network (SIgN), A*STAR, is seeking to appoint a senior Technology/ Business Development Director to lead SIgN's business development and outreach efforts.

The successful candidate is expected to build, nurture and maintain the existing technical/ business development team which is currently supporting the technology platforms and PIs at SIgN, and to establish business and scientific collaborative networks with biomedical and industry communities both locally and internationally. Additionally, the candidate will provide mentorship to the business development team in SIgN.

The successful candidate can look forward to a competitive salary package and resources as well as a dynamic, collegial and collaborative work environment.

Job Responsibilities:
  • To bring in business and service projects for the technology platforms.
  • To initiate and execute business and scientific collaborations with non-profit organisations and commercial companies.
  • To build and maintain a strong technical/ business development team.
  • To mentor and provide support to more junior tech/ biz staff.
  • To assist in corporate functions and other roles as assigned by the Executive Director.

Job Requirements:
  • At least a Bachelor of Science degree with more than 20 years' experience in the Biomedical sector.
  • Must have held leadership positions covering Business Development, Technology and Customer Service amongst others.
  • Possess strong skillsets in both Strategy Development and Execution.
  • Excellent track record of working engagements with both public and private sectors
  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills.
  • Experience in auditing is not necessary but would be an added advantage.
