Role Overview
The Marketing Executive is responsible for planning, implementing, and delivering marketing activities that enhance brand visibility, support the launch of new products and innovations, and drive engagement through account-based marketing (ABM). This role requires an understanding of specific business areas, industry channels, and target client segments to ensure effective execution.

The team

The WGSN marketing team blends creativity with strategic thinking using data-driven decisions to create the right commercial outcomes and elevate the WGSN brand. Our talented team is based across APAC, EMEA, LATAM and NAM and brings together a range of skills to enable us to deliver world-class marketing campaigns.

Key Accountabilities

  • Brand Support:
  • Assist in executing brand initiatives to strengthen WGSN’s positioning within the industry
  • Ensure brand consistency across all marketing materials and campaigns
  • Support PR and partnership initiatives to increase brand awareness
  • Campaign & Activation Execution:
  • Implement multi-channel marketing campaigns that support business objectives and drive engagement
  • Collaborate with the product, insights, and sales teams to contribute to go-to-market strategies for new products and innovations
  • Utilise digital marketing, content marketing, and event marketing to enhance client engagement
  • Account-Based Marketing (ABM):
  • Execute ABM tactics targeted at key enterprise clients and prospects
  • Work with sales teams to develop personalised marketing approaches for high-value accounts
  • Monitor and optimise ABM initiatives for maximum impact and ROI
  • Market-Specific Planning & Execution:
  • Adapt marketing tactics to align with the unique needs of business areas, industry channels, and client segments
  • Develop sector-focused initiatives that resonate with designers, buyers, merchandisers, and marketers at brands and large retailers
  • Ensure marketing activities are tailored to the unique challenges and opportunities within targeted sectors
  • Performance & Analysis:
  • Track and measure marketing initiatives against key performance indicators
  • Use data-driven insights to refine and improve campaign effectiveness
  • Provide regular reports on marketing activities, customer engagement, and campaign performance

Skills, Experience & Qualifications Required

  • Previous experience in a marketing role within a B2B or trend-driven industry (e.g., insights, media, SaaS, fashion, or retail sectors)
  • An understanding of brand marketing, campaign execution, and account-based marketing
  • Ability to support targeted marketing strategies that align with different business areas and client segments
  • Experience engaging stakeholders such as designers, buyers, merchandisers, and marketers
  • Some knowledge of digital marketing, content marketing, and omnichannel campaigns
  • Analytical skills, with the ability to track campaign performance
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and project management skills
  • Preferred qualifications: Bachelor’s degree or relevant professional qualification in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field
  • Experience in trend forecasting, consumer insights, or retail marketing is a plus
  • Familiarity with marketing automation, CRM, and analytics platforms
