Job Description

This position will be responsible for coordinating a spectrum of faculty development and medical education initiatives. Aligned with the mission of transforming medicine and improving lives through impactful education, the successful candidate will lead and assist in the smooth running of events and day-to-day operations, be a team player who will work with fellow team members and education scholars in coordinating efforts and executing projects, and support the business function across the Department.
1. Oversee education initiatives and events, as well as departmental business functions.
2. Manage budgeting, financial planning, and expenditure tracking for programmes and events.
3. Coordinate procurement, vendor selection, and invoicing.
4. Work alongside educators to plan and administer workshops, masterclasses, and professional development programmes.
5. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders on faculty development, education research, and programme evaluation.
6. Oversee education research grants, including applications, disbursements, compliance, and reporting.
7. Provide administrative support for workgroups, committees, and ad-hoc events.
8. Assist in major school events as staffer and logistics support.
9. Continuously refine work processes to enhance efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and impact.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in any discipline.
  • Minimum 1 to 3 years of work experience, preferably in education administration, events management or other related roles.
  • Meticulous, analytical and well-organised.
  • Demonstrate good interpersonal skills with experience in engaging stakeholders at all levels within complex circumstances.
  • Competent in applying general personnel practices, accounting and budgeting principles and coordination of major administrative functions.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and communication tools.
