If you have passion, drive and the will to succeed, rise to the challenge today!General Description:The DPM Client Portfolio Management team is responsible for the front-to-back client experience for CIO Mandates - DPM clients. This includes production of the marketing and communications from client portfolio positioning, pitch books, documents to facilitate client portfolio performance reviews and after-sales. In addition, Client Portfolio Managers are responsible for the framework for DPM client service to ensure a seamless client experience.Client Portfolio Managers would be key representatives for DPM to drive AUM growth and mandate penetration for Bank of Singapore.Candidates should possess strong domain knowledge in portfolio management, financial markets, portfolio positioning and ability to articulate factors for portfolio performance (e.g. asset allocation, securities selection). Analytical skills to work with portfolio-related data.Key soft skills for a Client Portfolio Manager: Confidence, Determination, Self-motivation, Strong time management skills, Ability to work effectively under pressure, strong team player and keen interest in and understanding of portfolio management for wealth management clients. Strong presentation and communication skills a must.Main Duties:
  • Together with DPM Portfolio Managers, understand clients’ needs and craft solutions according to clients’ risk appetite and preferences, through different asset classes including fixed income, equities and alternatives.
  • Take charge of and lead the co-ordination of customized portfolio RFPs (request for proposals) and pitches, with various portfolio managers.
  • Create, refresh and review marketing materials (pitch decks, review updates, marketing launches) regularly to ensure accuracy and relevance.
  • Craft and refine the framework for portfolio reviews, and conduct reviews with clients on a regular basis, or whenever required.
  • Drive AUM accumulation and growth through new mandates, and ensure AUM retention of existing clients
  • Participate in meetings with and make presentations to key stakeholders (RMs, MI team, ICs etc.) to regularly update them on DPM activities, performance tracking and new launches.
QualificationsWork Experience Requirements:
  • Strong report writing, communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong understanding of financial markets
  • Proven track record in driving AUM growth preferable
  • Proficient at Excel spreadsheet analytical development and utilization
  • Preferably skills in quantitative methods of data analysis
  • Familiarity with Blackrock Aladdin tools will be a plus.
Education Requirements:
  • At least 7-10 years of portfolio management or managed investments advisory, sales and marketing experience, preferably in a Private Bank or Asset Management house.
  • Familiarity with Blackrock Aladdin tools will be a plus.
