Your efforts will be integral to fostering a culture of safety and sustainability.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESPrimary Responsibilities: Environmental Health and Safety (75%)EHS Implementation: Lead efforts to implement and uphold EHS standards, supporting departmental EHS activities on site.Compliance Monitoring: Oversee local EHS management systems to ensure site compliance with local, corporate, and national standards.Material Onboarding: Manage the material onboarding process, ensuring personnel are informed of proper handling practices.Corporate Representation: Represent the site on safety and environmental matters during global corporate EHS meetings and audits.KPI Management: Track, manage, and report site KPI metrics such as lost workday accidents, recordable injury rates, positive safety concerns, and behaviors.Incident Investigation: Assist departmental managers in accident and incident investigations, ensuring thoroughness and completeness.EHS Planning: Develop site EHS plan from corporate key safety and environmental objectives for the financial year.Data Analysis: Collate EHS data and measure against KPIs, presenting potential risks to the Site Director and leadership team.Trend Identification: Identify EHS trends and improvement plans, communicating this information to site employees.Training and Meetings: Conduct monthly EHS meetings and provide EHS-related training, promoting safety and environmental awareness.Occupational Health: Support local HR teams with Occupational Health activities application.Emergency Plans: Oversee site emergency plans and risk assessment programs (e.g., ergonomics, work at heights, drug spillage, and fire drills).Safety GEMBA Walks: Participate in safety GEMBA walks.Secondary Responsibilities: Facility Management (25%)Energy Monitoring: Assist in monitoring energy usage and preparing statements of usage for finance.Maintenance Support: Update equipment lists and work orders in JDE Systems, and supervise maintenance contractors, ensuring all permits to work are in place.Equipment Calibration: Participate in the calibration/mapping/verification of equipment.Other Duties: Perform any other duties assigned to this post to support the facility’s operational needs.POSITION REQUIREMENTS:Bachelor’s degree of Diploma in science, Engineering or related discipline.Min 3 years of relevant experience in a similar EHS/facilities role.NEBOSH or equivalent EHS qualification.Self-starter with the ability to communicate clearly with employees at all levels.Ability to work effectively and manage implementation of EHS procedures.Catalent offers rewarding opportunities to further your career!
