Responsibilities:

  • Meet with Clients to identify their needs and expectations, prepare good design layouts and space planning, create design concept proposals and 3D visuals complete with material and finishes, furnishing and fixtures selections.
  • Presents design concepts and takes detailed notes to address Client’s request.
  • Formulate timeframe and prepare budgetary cost estimate for the works.
  • Prepare tender and detail drawings and technical specifications suitable for construction.
  • Develop tender documentation necessary for calling of tender for the contract works, conduct tender interviews, evaluate tender submissions, put up recommendation to Client for the award of the contracts.
  • Arrange and prepare agenda/minutes for Client/Contractor meetings, compile weekly report etc.
  • Monitor and inspect the progress of the Project on site to ensure that it is being constructed based on the design intent with good quality finishes to industry standards, and to ensure Project is on schedule, and within budget.
  • Monitor variations and verify Contractor’s progress payment claims.
  • Manage the Contractors and Consultants to ensure that the works comply with relevant Authorities requirement, eg. obtain TOP, CSC, FSC etc, and all other permits necessary to bring the Project to a completion.
  • Scrutinize details and compile defects checklist on completion of Project, arrange proper handover to Client together with all necessary documents, warranties, and certifications, finalise the Project Accounts to bring the Project to a closure.
  • Any other work as assigned by the Management.

Requirements:

  • Possess good knowledge and skillsets in Autocad, 3D Max, Sketch-up Pro, V-ray etc computer rendering, with knowledge on construction background. Good communication and writing skills.
  • Degree / Diploma in Architecture, Interior Design, Project Management, or equivalent. Min. 3 years of relevant experience in design consultancy, project management, and/or construction.
  • Able to prepare good design proposals and work independently, possess good interpersonal skills, proactive, resourceful, responsible and committed to achieve project goals and deliverables, a great team player with a positive attitude.
  • Strong design capabilities with a good eye for details.
