What the role is:This is a 11-month contract position as a Senior Student Development Officer in the Student Development Office.What you will be working on:Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:Sports Modules / IPPT support:Provide logistic support for Sports Modules (H&W) and IPPTSupervise IPPT trainersMentor Students & Inculcate Values:Mentor student leaders in their management committee roles and workGuide students in holistic development and student life mattersInstill NP's core values through teachable moments during interactions with studentsManage CCA Clubs & Student Leaders:Advise students on club management, including training, briefings, and operational mattersPlan and oversee the development and training of student leadersHandle administrative processes, such as proposal preparation, vetting, procurement (small value purchases), and maintaining CCA recordsCollaborate with stakeholders (e.g., coaches, parents, associations) on CCA-related mattersManage CCAs' coach(es), including training plans, contract management, and adherence to the code of conductEvent management:Provide logistics support for eventsMonitor and supervise event-related setupLiaise with students and vendorsOther Duties:Perform any additional tasks as assigned.What we are looking for:Bachelor's degree in related fieldsMinimum of 2 years of experience working with youthsStrong verbal and written communication skillsExcellent organizational skills and project management experienceCommitment to ensure good quality for all processes and programmesKeenness to implement changes and adopt new solutionsFlexibility to work after office hours or weekends when the work requires for itA positive track record of involvement in CCAs at the tertiary level would be an advantageAbout Ngee Ann Polytechnic:At Ngee Ann Polytechnic, our nine academic schools offer over 40 full-time diplomas to a growing student population of more than 15,000.
