Report to and assist the Water Polo Manager in the following:

Responsibilities:

Work with key stakeholders to develop the sport of Water polo in Singapore in the following:

  • Coach and Technical Official Development Pathway
  • Administer and coordinate courses and workshops.

Athlete Development Pathway

  • Work with clubs and schools to manage and coordinate recruitment activities
  • Administer and coordinate events, activities, qualification and grading etc.

Competition Development Pathway

  • To ensure a vibrant competition calendar
  • To coordinate the running of SAQ water polo competitions
  • To assist stakeholders when they organize competitions

Parents Development Pathway

  • Administer and coordinate workshops and forums.

Teams Support and Administration

  • Prepare AOR for local sparring and overseas trips
  • Booking of flights/hotels/transportation
  • Admin for team carding
  • Pool Bookings

Major games Admin and Support

  • Coordinate trip preparations
  • Handle Logistics Support
  • Handle equipment acquisition
  • Manage Water polo inventory
  • Handling enquiries from the public, affiliates and stakeholders for water polo matters
  • Any other tasks as stipulated by the Water Polo Manager

Professional Skills, Key Qualities and Other Requirements

  • Diploma / Degree, preferably in Business Administration, Sports Management or any sports-related fields.
  • Fresh graduates welcome to apply.
  • Proficient in MS-Office applications.
  • A dynamic and mature person with a strong passion for sports.
  • Possess good interpersonal communications and writing skill.
  • Confident, reliable and able to front events independently.
  • Possess initiative with the ability to prioritize, multi-task and work well under pressure to meet agreed schedules/deadlines
  • A can-do attitude with focus on achieving results
  • Excellent organizational skills, time management, and meticulous attention to detail
  • Strong and resourceful planner
  • Flexible approach to work, and the ability to be agile in the requirements of planning and delivering events
  • Willing to work on weekends and extended working hours during events / competitions period
