Job Description:Represent the Internal Controls (IC) Department for internal and external stakeholders in the region. Coordinate Regional IC Committee preparations with IC Central team & Regional representatives.Lead Internal Controls implementation and drive continuous improvements for the first line of defence, and supporting the second line testing (FIT-Check) across all divisions in the region.Oversee the APAC Know Your Customer (KYC) activities for all subsidiaries (excluding Australia & New Zealand, Airbus Defence and Space (ADS) branches, SATAIR & Testia).Primary ResponsibilitiesAct as the representative of the IC Department for internal and external stakeholders at regional level.Ensure effective communication within the region regarding IC yearly campaign, cascade the central planning and coordinate at regional level.Collaborate with IC central team & regional representatives (across all functions) to prepare the Regional IC Committee (ICC) for Internal Control reporting on bi-annual basis.Support all entities during Internal Controls Self Assessment (ICSA) campaign and ensure timely completion by each entity in the Region.Analyse ICSA campaign & quarterly deficiency tracking data and prepare the regional updates to the management on quarterly basis.Drive process standardization, harmonization and continuous improvement by sharing IC best practices within the region; co-ordinate with operational stakeholders to enhance the robustness of the first line of defence.Raise awareness and support entities in understanding of the expected key controls and the added value of IC from a regulatory and an operational efficiency perspective.Assess associated risks of any new changes (e.g. Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) migration, turnover in key roles) that may impact IC stability for the concerned entities, proposing action plan and support (e.g. process evolution, newcomer onboarding training) for effective recovery.Alert the IC Central Team in the event that any major gaps or deviations are identified.Ensure proper implementation and monitoring of any actions or recommendations from self assessment (ICSA), second & third line testing (FIT-Checks & Corporate Audits) as well as from external authorities ((ASEAN Federation of Accountants) AFA, Group external auditors, etc.).
