
Alumni Relations (ASM/Senior Manager), NUS College Outreach
NUS College is seeking an enthusiastic and dynamic professional to join our NUSC Outreach team. The Alumni Relations role focuses on developing and executing an effective strategy to engage and cultivate relationships with our alumni through various programmes, events and networking opportunities. We envision a holistic approach to engagement that extends from students' initial admissions to their graduation day, fostering lifelong connections and meaningful experiences within our community.
The incumbent will build and nurture relationships with alumni as well as internal and external stakeholders.

Duties & Responsibilities
Alumni Engagement:
• Lead NUSC’s participation in milestone alumni events including Homecoming, Kent Ridge Alumni Family Day, and Day of Service, and organise alumni activities tailored to diverse alumni segments.
• Develop and implement alumni engagement strategies to strengthen alumni programmes (i.e. professional alumni groups, networking events, reunions, etc.) for all alumni constituents of NUS College.
• Support the mentorship programme, in collaboration with the Growth Mentoring team, to connect alumni with professional development resources and foster a spirit of mentorship within the community.
• Cultivate long-term, meaningful relationships with alumni through personalised outreach, recognition efforts, and initiatives that enhance NUSC’s legacy.
• Manage all aspects of alumni data management including overseeing and tracking alumni engagement data to inform and refine strategies, gaining valuable insights into alumni relations practices.
• Develop and distribute regular communications to alumni (i.e. newsletters, email updates, event updates, etc.).
• Manage the Alumni Relations budget, ensuring utilisation compliance aligned with the university’s financial guidelines.
• Collaborate with the NUSC Development team to implement strategies to engage alumni support for the College.
• Collaborate with the Yale-NUS College Alumni Exco, Class/Alumni Ambassadors, alumni interviewers, alumni volunteers, alumni stakeholders, as well as internal stakeholders to build a culture of volunteerism and leadership.
• Leverage on social media platforms, the NUSC website, and digital communication tools to build connections, share updates, and highlight alumni achievements.
• Any other duties and responsibilities related to cultivating NUSC’s alumni and enhancing their overall experience with the College. This role offers growth opportunities for professionals passionate about creating a lasting impact on community engagement and institutional legacy.
Outreach Matters:
• Provide support on other outreach matters, as required, including events such as Open House, acceptance campaigns, fundraising campaigns, Commencement, and alumni reunions. Some events may require evening or weekend availability.
• Collaborate with other administrative teams on cross-functional projects and shared duties, gaining exposure to various aspects of NUSC’s operations.
Qualifications
• A university degree with at least 3 - 6 years of proven track record in partnership and/stakeholder engagement
• Enjoys meeting and interacting with people (in the case of NUSC, alumni, students who will be our future alumni, and other community members), with a genuine interest in fostering meaningful relationships
• Warm, pleasant and meticulous to foster personalised communication with alumni
• Flexible to be available and facilitate events and activities held after office-hours (as required) for alumni relations
• Comfortable in using technology tools and various communication platforms for stakeholder engagement
• Resourceful, service-oriented, and enthusiastic about taking on new challenges
• Passionate about education and committed to creating opportunities for students
• Proficient in updating website pages using WordPress is advantageous
• Events management experience is advantageous
