The Consulting Practice Lead role is responsible as an Individual Contributor for crafting strategies for revenue growth & growing performance with a Proposition focus of Workflows by forming communities of expertise within Customer Consulting teams from sub-regions across APAC. You will be accountable in driving a globalized vision and deliver standard processes for Customer Consulting for your proposition area whilst collaborating across the different sub-regional teams of Customer Consulting and the different collaborators in the wider SAM organization, Product & Proposition Teams, Technology and Support. You will also identify customer use cases proactively and develop a strategy in collaboration with the Proposition Teams to build consulting packages that can drive growth of revenue and identifying potential expertise and capacity gap for supporting pre-sales and delivery of these packages. This is a key and pivotal role to the success of LSEG and this person will by key in assuring the focus of the organization in driving growth of new solutions, services packages and supply to completion of global, regional, or functional projects on time, within budget and to efficiently implement company strategies. This position will be reporting to Head of Consulting APAC.RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Engages with the product managers regularly to acquire information on products roadmap, future direction, software releases, technology changes etc.
  • Leads all aspects of Proposition related financial updates like Gross Sales, Revenue, Pipeline and Pending’s Progress.
  • Reviews existing packages & marketing materials within the proposition and engages with frontline teams to discuss market fit and identify areas of improvements and new packages as per demand from our customers.
  • Consults and partners with members of the team to craft solutions for our clients
  • Proactively drives Customer Consulting Packages & Services, through customer engagements with Account Management aligned with the Top 250 Accounts Focus
  • Implements the strategy to drive the end-to-end sales and delivery effort of the Group aligned to the Solutions Governance Framework and improves efficiency of the entire sub-region.
  • Partners with a wide range of collaborators like Account Management, Proposition Sales, Solutions Hub, Proposition & Product, Technology etc to ensure partnership for shared goals and that clients are satisfied with their products and services.
  • Encompasses a broad knowledge of other fields within the function and provides market information to assist product development.
  • Takes an innovative and forward-thinking approach identify and resolve potential issues of processes, products of service improvements.
  • Develops effective sub-regional approach to operate in a sophisticated environment with broad impact by demonstrating capabilities and capacity within the region and Customer Consulting functions and gives to support the Customer Consulting operations.
  • Offers knowledge to develop customized solutions using software development processes.
  • Drive a commercial and highly strategic agenda, ensuring all key partners are coordinated with.
Required Skills
  • In depth experience in customer workflows, products, solutions & technology across the entire product suite of LSEG Workflows Proposition.
  • Strong consulting experience coupled with project/program management experience.
  • Extensive industry knowledge in the Banking, Corporates and Buy Side sectors.
  • Have a customer centric focus and has external client facing experience.
  • A strong consultative approach and hands-on experience with various technologies & data solutions commonly used in the Financial Services Industry.
  • Validated experience advising professional and consulting services strategy and delivery in a large-scale organization.
  • Experience in strategically crafting solutions based on customer problems demonstrating multiple products, data and technology.
  • Record of delivering or exceeding goals.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, and growing product sales environment.
  • Outstanding leadership skills and ability to drive a high sense of accountable outcomes.
  • Experience in driving equity and inclusivity across the community of authority resources.
  • Experience in delivering work from a global perspective in a cross-functional capacity would be an advantage.
  • High ability to influence key collaborators, including the C-Suite, who will be able to guide others to the adoption of difficult positions to advance company interests.
  • Integrates industry trends, personal and peer experience to handle and accelerate team sales cycles.
